CRM 200B

CRM 200B directly measures micro-ohm values at 200 Amps DC under live switchyard conditions. CRM 200B is specially designed to reliably measure contact resistance of circuit breakers, isolators, busbar joints, welded joints etc., under the hostile electrostatic noise found in live EHV switchyards upto 765 kV.

Inbuilt rechargeable battery tremendously enhances utility as AC supply connectivity is not required.CRM 200B operates on a rechargeable battery as well as Mains supply. It has a built-in constant current source, a precision instrumentation amplifier, digital readout and control logic.

A pulse of 200A DC is passed through the test object and voltage drop is sensed using the classical Kelvin’s 4 wire method to measure contact resistance. Both test current and resistance value are displayed on LCD.

MD 5060x

The Megabras MD-5060x is a smart, microprocessor-controlled, 5kV insulation tester and analyzer. Besides the conventional measurement of insulation resistances up to 5 TW, its advanced features allow to automatically measure both the Polarization Index and Dielectric Absorption Index, thus significantly simplifying testing of transformers.

This insulation tester is a portable, battery-powered equipment. Test voltage may be chosen from 500V to 5 kV in 100 dddV increments. Due to its measurement principle (actual voltage and current readings) the accuracy of resistance measurement is not affected by any test voltage error. Nevertheless, the High-Voltage generator is electronically stabilized with a better than 2% accuracy in open-circuit condition and for any normal operation battery voltage.

The MD-5060x is powered using a rechargeable battery and has an automatic charger that may be connected to 100 - 240V mains supply. The transmission towers are electrically grounded by ground wires and due to the existence of this connection, any attempt to measure a tower ground resistance by any conventional earth tester leads to wrong results. To make this kind of test feasible, TM- 25R is the appropriate tool for a fast, safe and reliable grounding resistance measurement in each tower at charged transmission lines, without disconnecting the ground wire. MTD20KWe

The MTD-20KWe digital earth tester allows for the measurement of Earth Resistances and Soil Specific Resistivity, and also the spurious voltages caused by parasitic voltages present in the soil.

This equipment is suitable for fast and easy measurement of the grounding resistance in house and industrial buildings, hospital installations, lightning rods, antennas, substations, etc. Soil resistivity measurement allows for soil stratification in order to optimize the most complex grounding systems engineering.

Its state-of-the-art system of active and passive filters provides it with high immunity to electric interferences, making it possible to obtain reliable measurements even in the presence of spurious voltages, such as the ones that can be found in some urban areas and near primary substations.

A 1,470 Hz internal generator injects alternated current on the soil through an auxiliary rod. The voltage generated over the earth resistance is measured by the apparatus, and the resistance value is evaluated. The test current is automatically regulated.
