Prima Series is designed for Primary Current Injection Testing of Current Transformers, Protection Relays & Circuit Breakers during their Factory Test, Commissioning and Routine Testing. 

It is also tests the secondary current of Current Transformers and for other applications that require variable high currents. 

The Kit is designed for most optimal use of man and machine and is suitable to work in live switch yard conditions. Kit to be used for the injection of high current to the Primary side of the CT as per the guidelines of IEC 60044 / IEC 61869 and is suitable to work in live switch yard conditions up to 765kV.Prima consists of a separate Control Unit and Loading Transformer, it enables user to take the Loading Transformer nearest to the DUT’s terminal.

SCOPE introduces state of the art precision three phase Transformer Turns Ratio Meter (TTRM ) designed for field testing as well as factory testing of power transformers, instrument transformers and distribution transformers of all types. Along with turns ratio, this light weight and reliable instrument measures ratio deviation, phase angle deviation, magnetizing current and detects tap-position of single as well as three phase transformers in charged switchyard condition. The instrument has facility to automatically detect vector group of all majority configurations available. The differant AC voltage selection offers high accuracy in measurement.

Instrument has in-built TFT display with touch screen and thermal printer. The user friendly, simple instrument makes the testing more easy. With the touch keypad it is possible to enter required DUT information. The ratio results of all the phases are displayed in tabular form with % error. The Megger MVCT test set is a lightweight, robust, portable unit capable of testing both current and voltage transformers. At less than 20 lb (10Kg) the MVCT is a highly portable unit that also offers accuracy in testing. Capable of performing saturation, ratio, polarity, winding resistance, and insulation tests on current transformers, the MVCT can also be used for testing metering and protection class voltage/potential transformers. The MVCT provides a microprocessor controlled variable voltage and current output along with precision instrumentation for automatically testing single and multi-ratio CTs and VT’s. The MVCT makes testing CTs easy. It will directly connect to multi ratio CT’s and perform all tests – saturation, ratio and polarity, winding resistance, and insulation – on all taps with the push of a button and without changing leads. This greatly reduces testing time. The MVCT can be controlled via its large, full color, high resolution, sunlight readable TFT LCD touch screen display. This interface allows the user to perform manual and automatic testing quickly and easily using the manual test screen, or by using pre-constructed test routines. The large color display also permits the user to easily read all pertinent data while the test is being performed and provides the ability to view the results when the test is complete. The Megger MRCT is a light weight, robust, portable unit used to perform demagnetization, ratio, saturation, winding resistance, polarity, phase deviation, and insulation tests on current transformers. The MRCT automatically calculates ratio errors, saturation curves, and knee points. The MRCT provides a microprocessor-controlled variable voltage and current output and precision instrumentation for automatically testing single and multi ratio CTs, reducing testing time and increasing productivity. The MRCT will directly connect to multi ratio CT’s and perform all tests – saturation, ratio and polarity, winding resistance and insulation – on all taps with the push of a button and without changing leads.

The MRCT can be controlled via Megger’s Smart Touch View Interface (STVI) controller. The STVI controller is a full color, high resolution, LCD touch screen which allows the user to perform manual and automatic testing quickly and easily using the manual test screen, as well as using pre-constructed test routines. The large color display permits the user to easily read all pertinent data while the test is being performed and provides the ability to view the current transformer’s saturation curve. The unit can also be configured to come without a Megger STVI and can be controlled via a laptop with Megger’s PowerDB software.

Current transformers can be tested in their equipment configuration, such as being mounted in transformers, oil circuit breakers or switchgear. It is necessary for the equipment to be completely isolated from the electrical system prior to testing.

The SVERKER 750/780 Relay Test Set is the engineer's toolbox. The control panel features a logical layout, still SVERKER 650 users will find it comfortably familiar and will be able to start work right away.

The SVERKER 750/780 features many functions that make relay testing more efficient. For example, its powerful measurement section can display (in addition to time, voltage and current) Z, R, X, S, P, Q, phase angle and cos φ. The voltmeter can also be used as a 2nd ammeter(when testing differential relays for example). All values are presented on a single easy-to-read display.

You can also test directional protective equipment efficiantly by means of the built-in variable voltage source. In SVERKER 780 this has a continuous phase shift function and adjustable frequency as well. Automatic reclosing devices can also be tested – just as easily.

Designed to comply with EU standards and other personal and operational safety standards, SVERKER 750/780 is also equipped with a serial port for communication with personal computers and the PC software SVERKER Win.
