Autoscan TS

The AutoScan TS has been designed as a modular test sequencer with special facilities to enable automation. This unique sequencer is suitable for wide variety of test applications where an electrical trigger impulse initiates a string of coordinated and cascaded secondary events.

The AutoScan TS, designed around an IBM Compatible PC architecture, allows easy programmability to the user for setting up cascade events on various output channels of the sequencer and enhances ease of testing. The sequencer also uses an external synchronisation AC waveform to accomplish these tasks - this unique feature of Point On Wave is user programmable

Application areas include setting up and executing transient load tests, short circuit tests on Circuit Breakers, protection equipment, transformers, busbar components CTs, PTs etc., where the test and measuring setups need to be coordinated on a time scale for reliable capturing of valuable test results using external measuring equipment.

The system is built in industrial grade 19” cabinet conforming to DIN 41494 and comprises:

• Command sequencer chassis to drive 16 relay modules with trigger / start command.

• Synchronising chassis to handle Synchronising input, generation of time base clock.

• 4 Nos. Relay chassises, each containing 4 modules to switch a total of 16 channels.

• Autoscan TS Software.
