SCOPE introduces, for the first time in the country, the most powerful Real Time On-Line system for continuous monitoring of Circuit Breaker performance in HV / EHV substations.

RTMon consists of Field Unit which is inatalled near CB in IP enclosure, a PC in control room loaded with RTMon software and the communication link between the two.

No. of CBs in one subatation can be monitored by installing one field unit per CB, and they will communicate with central PC.

  • The RTMon system is set up to monitor the signatures/ values of following parameters directly using sensors:

These new CT/PT testers are based on low frequency and variable frequency methods which lead to the great reduction in weight and high knee point test range. With one button click, all test items of the current transformer test set, such as excitation, winding resistance, polarity, phase error, ratio, etc, can be performed automatically.

PCT200Ai is the current transformer test set can finish various tests of different transformers. Compared with PCT200i,its accuracy is higher.This CT analyzer can test the 0.2s class CT.Only this CT analyzer - the high-accuracy current transformer test set has passed the tests held by Wuhan High Voltage Research Institute.The max permissible error of ratio measurement is ±0.05% and max phase measurement is ±2min.

Ponovo provides relay test template based on relay model from different Relay manufacturer. With the use of template the relay test can be simplified greatly. Battery banks are becoming inseparable part of uninterrupted or back-up power supply arrangements in various industries like Power, Telecom, IT etc. In substations the critical protection, control & communication systems run on battery power. Hence the reliability of these battery banks is crucial to ensure smooth operation of equipment which they are serving in above industries. TRM Series precision Winding Resistance Meters are designed for field testing as well as for factory testing of large rotating machines & transformers up to 500 MVA. Winding resistance value of transformer and rotating machine are directly displayed on 5.7” TFT display. TRM25 is designed to work in live EHV switchyard conditions, ensuring operator’s safety and repeatability of results. Tap changer failures account for more than 40 % of all failures on power transformers. OLTC failures are caused by degradation of OLTC contacts. SCOPE offers dynamic OLTC test facility with TRM 25 to identify weaknesses in OLTC assembly. The test is conducted in PC control mode at higher sampling speed of 10 KHz.

  • This test records variation in current flowing through the OLTC against time during tap change.
  • Gives % drop in current and transition time
  • The drop in current during OLTC transition indicates change in transition resistance.
  • I t is also possible to calculate transition time which shows healthiness of mechanism.
  • The test is very useful for assessing health of OLTC.

This optional feature extends the capability of the basic instrument making it complete test equipment for testing transformers.
