SCOPE has developed Automated Test Equipment for manufacturers of Equipment for the Power Sector and the Automotive Industry. Some of the ATE applications developed are for:
| Test Automation: |
Software to manage measurement in SCOPE’s ATE, provide a GUI (Graphical User Interface) to set up the test, manage test sequences, set up pass/fail limits, create reports, store test data and create
MIS that provides information that can be actioned upon for improvement in Quality and other deliverables.
| Data Portability: |
Software to enhance the capability of SCOPE’s portable instruments to communicate graphical and numeric test results over the internet. Typically, this data of power equipment distributed over a large geographical area is sent to QA monitoring nodes where it is collated in a disciplined structure and linked to the ID of each Equipment Tested. Statistical analysis of this data aids repair/replace decision making by the user. |
| Condition Monitoring: |
SCOPE’s SCHELOG is a web based software, set up at the HQ of a power transmission or distribution organisation and accessed at sub-station levels to input test data. The software enables scheduling of periodic tests, gives alarms in order to adhere to schedules, accepts test data after periodic inspection tests are conducted, allows the user to allocate resources, reasons for non-conformance and enables the HQ to monitor the condition of equipment used in its system. |
| Project Management: |
SCOPE has developed software –ELPROMIS- to monitor the day to day progress of infrastructure projects, especially for the power sector. The software is set up to activities of finance, physical implementation and logistics of interdependence in such large projects. The web based software tracks progress on financial and physical implementation vis-ŕ-vis the planned schedule and provides timely alarms for taking action at different levels to get the project on line. |
