Automated Automotive Relay Test System |
SCOPE T&M offers for the first time in India the AutoScan RE 4.0, a fully automated test system for conducting routine on tests relays of various types having rated voltage of up to 24 VDC. The hardware, setup and software are suitable for the needs of relay manufacturers.
Features:
| • |
The test system is complete with the Microprocessor intelligence, programmable voltage and current sources, Measurement hardware, Interface with a master PLC and communication hardware for remote communication to external PC.
| • |
This flexible test system is completely user configurable and allows the user to setup Test Parameters, Test Sequences, and Pass / Fail criteria.
| • |
The setup and data acquisition software provided with the system allows the user to setup tests, download the settings to the test sets and log all the performance parameters of full batch of relays tested during a shift. The easily portable data generated thus, can be used for SQC or SPC purpose.
| • |
The system is offered with calibration traceability to National Standards.
Power of Automation:
The following tests are typically conducted on automotive relays, in cycle times as low as 5 seconds:
1. Test of Oscillation
2. Timing test on “NO” Contact
3. Timing test on “NC” Contact
4. Pick-up Test
5. Millivolt drop/ Micro-ohm test on “NO” contact
6. Drop-out test
7. Millivolt drop/ Micro-ohm test on “NC” contact
8. Test of Special Oscillation
Benefits:
| • |
No training required, A Single key executes the entire test sequence in one go, also gives test status and corresponding test result indications and finally uploads test results to PC.
| • |
Accurate, A Specially designed programmable DC voltage source ramps up/down voltage output at programmed volts/sec rate for Pickup - Dropout test.
| • |
Fast measurement, A High speed micro-controller gives better accuracy of contact timing measurement.
| • |
Accurate and repeatable milli-volt drop test, uses Kelvin's 4 wire method for resistance measurement and 10 A current injection
| • |
An emergency stop switch ensures user, test-object and equipment safety during accidental condition.
| • |
Tamper proof: Only authorized user is allowed to change the test settings. Authorization integrity implemented using physical keys and interlocks.
