AutoScan HV/EHV series:
These ATE are designed to test HV and EHV circuit breakers as per IEC 56 for final acceptance routine tests conducted at the end of manufacture. The AutoScan is available in Work-table and DIN 41494 rack versions. DIN rack versions along with accessories like programmable power supplies are expandable to meet future needs.
| Tests conducted automatically are: |
Operational Tests at Rated conditions - Close, Open, CO, OCO, timings, travel characteristics of operating mechanisms, Trip/Close Coil characteristics, Static Contact Resistance and Dynamic Contact Resistance.
Operational Tests - at higher than and lower than rated supply voltage.
| Power of Automation: |
When a circuit breaker is ready for final Routine Testing, customized test leads are connected between it and the AutoScan.
The AutoScan is set up for carrying out a sequence of tests using SCOPE’s Test Manager software and stored in its library.
The operator selects the test sequence for the circuit breaker to be tested and runs the sequence.
AutoScan performs all tests in the programmed sequence, compares each parameter with Pass/Fail limits and declares the breaker OK or FAIL.
Test Certificate is printed/ stored as per the manufacturer’s format.
All test data is stored in a database for analysis.
Benefits of Automation:
Cycle time is drastically reduced, increasing productivity.
It is easy to add new circuit breaker types through the powerful GUI.
Expandable to meet future enhancements.
‘Soft’ data storage with a back up ensures safety of test data.
Statistical Analysis of Test Data leads to improvement in quality.
Automatic testing ensures the authenticity of test results.
